Our Journey: From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leadership
It all started in 2009 when our founder and Managing Creative Director, Claire Kivedo, took a bold step in starting a business that combined her passion for events, public relations, and communication with her extensive experience in the corporate and parastatal environments. Claire’s vision was simple yet powerful: to create events that go beyond logistics, offering experiences that bring people together, strengthen brands, and build meaningful relationships with stakeholders.
Over the past 15 years, Overall Events & Communication has evolved into a trusted partner for some of the country’s leading organisations, including Mandela Bay Development Agency, Volkswagen Africa Group, Coega Development Corporation, and Nelson Mandela University, among many others. What began as a small enterprise has grown into a dynamic company known for delivering large-scale corporate functions, exhibitions, and conferences across the Eastern Cape, Southern Cape, and Western Cape.

Through it all, we’ve remained focused on delivering personalised service, creative solutions, and seamless execution. Whether it’s an event for 50 guests or 5,000, we bring the same level of commitment and attention to detail.
