Creating a blog for your business is not such a daunting process as you might think.

We are also fairly new to blogging but always had something to voice our opinion about or to introduce something new.

Blogging created a platform for us to say what we needed to and to share it with the audiences that are interested.

It is a little bit more writing than a normal Facebook post, but that is okay. I am sure there is someone in your organization that would like to showcase their writing skills. Very important is grammar and spelling as there is nothing worse than reading copy that has not gone through the effort of using spell check.

It ultimately comes down to how you want to align yourself online. Your communication has to be inline with your overall strategic objectives and it also has to be consistent across all of your other social media platforms. What we like to call Integrative Marketing Communication.

Now, back to blogging. It creates a place where you can share your expertise, your news and possibly position yourself as an expert in your industry. It also gives you insight into your audiences as engagement increases if the content your share is of value to them. You get to know who visits your site and from where they are doing it. Information that is very illusive in most businesses.

These are just some of the benefits of investing in a blog for your business. The rest will be covered in our step by step workshop that we are offering on 15 & 16 May 2017 in Port Elizabeth.

Please join us. We look forward to hosting and empowering you.
